Different ways of thinking, different ways of learning (DTDL)

This workshop helps families understand that every child learns differently. In 10-12 classes, parents learn to recognize signs and difficulties, understand different conditions, interpret assessments, and collaborate more effectively with specialists. Practical strategies are offered for use at home and at school, enabling parents to support their children with clarity and confidence.

It is taught in Regional Centers, Learning Rights Law Center (LRLC) and other organizations according to community needs.

I Feel, I Think, and I Act

A practical workshop for families that focuses on the child's needs, beyond the diagnosis.

  • I feel: emotional security, self-esteem, and empathy.

  • I think: attention, memory, reading, writing and reasoning, with resources to use at home.

  • I act: self-regulation, flexibility, frustration tolerance and impulse control.

It is offered at the Tichenor Orthopedic Clinic and in groups or organizations according to topics of interest.
